Delivery & coverage
- Where do you deliver?
- We currently deliver across the UK, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Brighton — and we're adding new cities regularly. Coverage depends on our local bakery network. Enter your postcode at signup and we'll confirm availability.
- What happens if no bakery is available in my area?
- We'll let you know before any order is placed. You'll never be charged for an unmatched delivery. We're actively expanding our network — if your area isn't covered yet, we'll notify you when it is.
- Can cakes be delivered to employees' homes?
- Yes. Deliveries can go to an office address or a home address. Employee addresses are stored securely in your dashboard and only used for delivery purposes.
Dietary requirements
- Do you handle dietary requirements?
- Yes — dietary preferences are a core part of TeamTreat, not an afterthought. You can set per-employee preferences including vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, halal, kosher, and more. These are passed to the bakery with every order and displayed prominently in the order brief.
- What if an employee's dietary needs change?
- Update their profile in the dashboard at any time. Changes take effect for all future orders — any order already confirmed with a bakery would need to be updated manually via our support team.
Pricing & billing
- What does it cost?
- Monthly plans start at £3/employee/month (Starter, up to 50 employees) and £5/employee/month (Growth, up to 500 employees). Cake costs are billed at-cost on top — typically £28–£45 per cake depending on your region. Enterprise pricing is custom. There are no hidden markups.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes — all plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start.
- How does invoicing work?
- You receive one consolidated monthly invoice covering your subscription and all cake deliveries that month. No per-order admin.
Integrations & setup
- Which HR systems do you integrate with?
- We integrate with BambooHR, HiBob, Personio, and Workday. Daily syncs automatically register new employees and remove leavers. CSV import is available on all plans.
- Do you integrate with Slack or Microsoft Teams?
- Yes — on the Growth plan and above, you can connect your Slack workspace or Teams channel to receive notifications when a cake is on its way and when it's been delivered. You can also set up a weekly Monday digest of upcoming birthdays.
- How long does setup take?
- Most companies are fully set up in under 10 minutes — connect your HRIS or upload a CSV, set dietary preferences, and you're done. The first orders are triggered automatically 14 days before the next upcoming birthday.
Account & cancellation
- Can employees opt out?
- Yes. Any employee can be excluded from the delivery programme — either by the HR admin in the dashboard, or by the employee themselves via a simple opt-out link included in their delivery notification email.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. No minimum term, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account settings and your subscription ends at the close of your current billing period.
- Is employee data kept securely?
- Yes. All data is stored within UK/EU infrastructure, in compliance with GDPR. Employee date-of-birth and address data is used only for delivery matching and is never sold or shared with third parties. Full details are in our privacy policy.
